Since October 2011, the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) has been using an expedited screening program called PreCheck.  The program is currently operating in 16 U.S. airports and Logan International Airport (BOS) is the most recent addition.  PreCheck will continue to expand to the nation’s busiest airports, with numerous airports scheduled for later this year.  In over 8 months of operation, more than 1.4 million travelers have used the TSA PreCheck.
